Yeah tims car the silver 99 gsx should be in the high 8's low 9's this year. I talked to him last week and he has a new street exhaust for the car 3.5" v banded all the way around. Take the v band off after the downpipe, remove the cat back, and v band on the race muffler/turndown. He also has 2 built trannys ready to go. Also has the rest of the cage to put in, and the removable parachute mount to install. The car still has some weight reduction to be done as well. There is alot more in it and with the new turbo set up it should do close to what mike is making on his evo 2 at the wheels. Tim usually races at just about every GLD import wars event, if his job allows and if the car isnt broken. he turned the boost down some with the larger turbo and the trans seems to last longer. LOL From 51 psi to 40ish.
He actually drives the car alot in the summer. His dd gallant vr4 is broken more than the eclipse. LOL
Oh yeah, the partial dyno pull was due to the car not having an adequate fuel set up. 2 walbro 255's and 1200cc injectors werent cutting it. he is adding a sump 2 more walbro 255's and a second rail, so 2 rails, 2 pumps per rail, and 8 injectors total.
Mike is going for some higher #'s as well. He tries to attend some of the events at GLD as well if he isnt off doing the top speed mile thing.
